OT: Accomplishment of a different kind

This doesn’t have anything to do with my book or writing but it is an accomplishment that I wanted to share. Some of you may know that I am in the martial arts. I have been taking it for over 12 years now. I am the only female in my class and one of only 2 other girls in the adult class. Tonight, I was promoted to brown with a stripe. My next belt with be my black belt (assuming I pass the rediculasly hard test). So not only am I on a mission to finish my book but I am also on a mission to get in shape so that I will be able to pass my black belt test when it comes.

As a writing side note: I spoke with an author I stumbled across last night and requested an interview. She wrote back today and said she’d be thrilled to do one. So….there ya go!
