A few bits of interesting info

While I work on Guardians, finish recording and editing Holly’s Ebook “How to Write Page Turning Scenes“, begin the countdown for DragonCon, and a few other fun things like work my way through Holly’s “Thinking Sideways” Online Course…I’ve found a few more things to do coming up.

One of them is the Muse Online 2008 Conference.

The Muse Online Writer’s Conference is unique and I am thrilled to see all the positive responses trickling in from everyone.

You’ll get to meet some publishers, authors of various genres, editors…all here to answer questions you may have on writing, all teamed up on one writing lounge.

Episode 18: Interview with Tee Morris and Philippa Balentine

Episode 18 of Tale Chasing is a real winner. Even though there was some tech problems this has been my most fun interview yet and that’s saying something. I need to provide a warning because by the middle of this your cheeks will be hurting from smiling so much.

Where is Chapter 1 of Guardians?

Curious what I’ve been doing with my time? Well some of the posts below should give you an idea and don’t worry, I’m planning on doing a quick update via podcast shortly to tell you what all I’ve gotten myself into…but I know tons of people are waiting on the release of chapter 1 of Guardians. Episode 17: Interview with PG Holyfield

I apologize for the long wait between podcasts but also for the lateness of this interview with PG Holyfield. As you’ve seen things have been hectic but I finally have it finished and it’s all yours for the listening! Enjoy!

As I finished up editing the PG Holyfield interview I realized it’s been 2 month *cring* since we recorded it. It’s killing me. The only thing keeping me from sticking knives in my eyes is how nice PG has been about the delay. Granted I’ve been a very busy camper…but it’s just not good to do that you know? Mur’s right behind him and then all you guys waiting for the first chapter of Guardians.

To make up for it a little bit, I will have a special audio file with PG and another special for later with PG and Mur together! But regardless you will have PG’s Interview very very shortly! I PROMISE!

For now…I’d like to offer you the best thing I could think of as a peace offering.

Just keeping you informed

TesFest went really well and I had a good time. I”m back and it was my intention to get up the 3 interviews this week. But I need to go home for the weekend so I’ll be gone from Friday til Tuesday. This will delay the site and the novel. I apologize to everyone who’s waiting and I say “thank you” for the patience.

What’s the deal…?

I want to thank everyone for being so patient and hanging on. This post is to give you a heads up of where I’ve been, what’s going on, and what my plan is. You all know I’ve been very busy this last month with different projects. Here’s the things I’ve been doing:

• Writing and recording Chapter 1 Guardians
• Setting up GuardiansNovel.com
• Editing previous recorded Interviews to put up on TaleChasing soon
• Organizing all the volunteers for a BDSM festival next weekend
• Scheduling all the security volunteers for said event
• Helping with the scheduling of other events at said event
• Doing a final edit of my friend’s new book being released at said event - The Forked Tongue
• A complete server move for over 25 domains I’m associated with
• Planning and beginning the write of Chapter 2 of Guardians
• Taking Advice, Tarot, and “other” calls to make a little extra green
• Working out like a dog to loose some weight for the event

Whew…I’ve been busy.

Here’s what my next week and change looks like:

• Finishing placing a few spots left to fill at the event
• Organizing sheets and giving out all my volunteers their final hours for the event
• Finishing up the server move
• Taking a few extra calls for the cash
• Packing for the event
• Dying my hair before the event
• A small shopping trip to Khols before the event
• And then Thursday - Monday running around like mad and hopefully having some fun at THE EVENT!

What am I planning for after the event?

• Doing finishing edits on 3 interviews
• Putting up the PG Holyfield Interview
• Putting up the Mur Lafferty Interview
• Putting up the Tee Morris/Philippa Ballantine Interview (I did today)
• Putting up the first Chapter of Guardians
• Making some cash on phone calls so I can go to DragonCon
• Writing and putting up the 2nd Chapter of Guardians

And there you have it….where I been, what I’m doing, where I’m going. So hopefully you can understand why there has been a delay in not only podcast episodes for here…but for Guardians as well. Thank you for your understanding. Peace out

Forgive me

I know I haven’t updated in a while. I’ve been so swamped with TesFest stuff I’ve just been working away at that. I have everything recorded for Guardians and I’ll be done with the edit of it soon. Half way done. I’m partially done with the second chapter.

I had help editing the PG Holyfield interview and I can get that up very soon. So…it’s coming…thank you all for baring with me.

So behind

I want to thank everyone for their patience. I feel so behind on everything. I’ve been spending the last few days helping move all our sites to a new server. It’s not an easy process. I have all the pieces to put the first chapter of Guardians together, I just have to find the time to be able to do it. But my “brother” just came back into my life and he’s always been really good at helping me when I need it. So right now he’s taking a first crack at the Interview with PG Holyfield.

It’s getting down to the wire for the event I’m helping put together so I have all that to deal with and I had no idea how much of a nightmare coordinating so many people was. I’m doing it but part of it makes me want to scream at people or tear my hair out.

I had a post in mind I wanted to write but it requires a bit more thought then these small update posts do so that will have to be put on hold as well. I just wanted to give you an update on all the things happening and tell ya I’m working on it.
